Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Workers, a service of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. To deliver the pages and protect the site against attacks, Cloudflare necessarily processes your IP address together with technical request data: date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system, and the referring page.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, the legitimate interest in delivering this website securely and reliably. Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) and keeps it only as long as these purposes require. Data may be transferred to the USA. Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has recognised as providing an adequate level of protection (Art. 45 GDPR).

Contact by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the details you provide (name, contact details and the content of your enquiry) to answer it and, where applicable, to prepare a booking. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns a booking or another contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, the legitimate interest in answering enquiries. Emails are received through Posteo, a service of Posteo e.K., Methfesselstr. 38, 10965 Berlin, Germany. The data is deleted once the enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention periods under German commercial and tax law require longer storage. Providing these details is neither a statutory nor a contractual requirement, but without them we cannot answer your enquiry.

Videos are not loaded automatically. The preview image is served from this server. Only when you actively click play is a connection to YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com) established, and data may be transferred to Google. Before that click, no request is made to YouTube.

The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The legal basis is your consent, given by clicking play (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG). Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA, which is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by reloading the page: the player is then no longer loaded.

The Spotify player is not loaded automatically. As long as you do not actively click play, no request is made to Spotify. Only with that click is a connection to Spotify (open.spotify.com) established, and data, in particular your IP address, may be transferred to Spotify AB. If you are signed in to your Spotify account at that moment, the request can be linked to that account.

Links to external platforms

The links to Instagram, YouTube, Reggaeville, Spotify and Apple Music are plain links. No data is transferred to the respective platform until you click one. From then on, that platform's own privacy policy applies.

Fonts

All fonts are served locally from this server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other external font service.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies of its own and embeds no analytics or tracking services.

Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). Any consent you have given can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3)). A message to the email address above is enough.

Right to object

You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR). This covers the server log files and enquiries that do not concern a booking. We will then no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. A message to the email address above is enough.

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular in the EU member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. The authority competent for this website is named above.
